FIRE RISK MANAGEMENT

Fire is a threat to life, property and contents and in the case of historic buildings can also result in irreplaceable loss of our built heritage and precious artefacts. Adams Napier Partnership are experienced in undertaking fire risk assessments to help client’s fulfil their duties under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005, identifying fire hazards within a building and providing advice on risk reduction to ensure people and property are adequately protected. In addition to our fire risk assessment training and experience we are RICS Accredited Historic Building Professionals and our approach to assessment considers the risk to life and property.  We fully understand the sympathetic approach needed when assessing historic buildings, finding solutions that protect occupants and the special character and significance of the building.
